History

The Company Nexus d.o.o. was founded in 1999 by Mr. Milan and Mr. Alen Magdić with headquarter in Cerna, Croatia.

The Company was founded with certain patriotism, with the background that the experience and knowledge gained for many years in Germany, can be transferred to Croatia in order to create a structural and technological production center on a European level. Mr. Milan Magdić began his career at BMW as a locksmith. Through years of training and specialization, he became a designer for the development of tools for special purposes in the car body construction, as well as for spot welding and other welding in the construction of car bodies. How much his special knowledge helped him by the establishment of the company Nexus, confirms the fact that he holds several patents which have arisen during his time at BMW.
At the beginning, Nexus was an importer of aluminum ladders and scaffolding from Germany. The production started in 2001.
In the first year of existence, the company had only one employee in manufacturing. Now, after the breakthrough in the international business, it employs 60 people.

The first major customer was the German company Wagner Maschinen-und Vorrichtungsbau GmbH, of which we still receive substantial orders for production of special tools and devices for the automotive industry.
Currently, the largest buyer is Strama - MPS GmbH and Co. KG.
A somewhat lesser buyers are the companies: Wagner Maschinen-und Vorrichtungsbau GmbH, Wilhelm Karmann GmbH and Schulz Engineering GmbH.
From the Croatian clients, we can lift out Same Deutz Fahr, for which we have developed a few designs.
